Timoti Fregni considers himself a curious musician. He had the privilege to perform under great conductors (Claudio Abbado, Lorin Maazel, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, among others) from which he tried to learn as much as possible. He had the privilege
to play with wonderful colleagues without conductor too, in particular in the frame of the project Spira mirabilis, of which he’s one of the founding members.

At the same time he was drawn towards performance practice and –inspired by the clarinetist Lorenzo Coppola- he devoted himself to early music.

As Director Concertmaster he performs above all with Musica Humana, El Teatre Instrumental and Geneva Camerata.

He founded in 2015 the Ostinato Ensemble Berlin.
